Faran A. Abbasi has practiced with local firms representing individuals and homeowners against insurance carriers, corporations, and negligent individuals. Faran was previously a member of a nationwide insurance defense firm that defended personal liability, construction defect, and property damage claims. Faran’s background includes defending cases on behalf of corporations, people and/or family clients.
Faran is admitted to practice in all of Florida’s State Courts and is also admitted to the United States District Court for the Southern District of Florida. Faran earned a Bachelor’s degree in political science from the University of South Florida where he also served as a Student Body Vice-President – for two terms. Faran earned his law degree from Nova Southeastern University, Shepard Broad College of Law in 2013. Faran is also a member of the Broward County Bar Association, and the Florida Justice Association.
Faran was born in Pakistan, moved to South Florida after his first birthday, and was raised in all three southern counties from Miami-Dade to Palm Beach. In his free time, Faran enjoys spending time and traveling with his wife, son, and close friends. Faran is a die-hard Miami Heat and Miami Dolphins fan. Faran is also bilingual in Urdu and Hindi.
